Madison Jaye, a US-based brand and marketing strategist and multimedia journalist, has offered Kenyan model Nyokabi Mukora a free spot on a billboard in New York.
Jaye was emotional after Nyokabi received backlash on Twitter for a photo she posted of herself in an ad that said she was “on a billboard”.
In response, the Kenyans dragged her saying that her picture was not on a billboard but instead had been placed on a fence.

Angered by what she called online bullying, Jaye took to social media on Saturday, March 18, and offered to put Nyokabi’s photo on a billboard in New York.
“I partner with Billboards in Times Square and 1,500 across America.
“With the permission of the image owner, I’d like to put you on a billboard in New York City for free,” Jaye said.
According to Jaye, she would use this as a way to educate others about the effects of online bullying, adding that she had also had a similar experience.
“I’m just honored to be able to play a small part in the big things she will do in this world.
“I went from eating in soup kitchens, to not just being on billboards around the world, but being able to put other people on billboards around the world. Integrity will take you places no one has seen, never give up,” Jaye said.
The multimedia journalist shared her humble beginnings noting that prior to her success, she was hurt by individuals on the internet who bullied and made fun of her.
“I know what it’s like to see the world laughing at you when all you want is to see your dreams come true. It’s one of the most painful things to heal from,” added Jaye.
