Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson have appeared in six Marvel Cinematic Universe movies together, but here are all of the non-MCU movies they both starred in.
Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson are two of Hollywood’s biggest stars thanks to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but they’ve starred in several films together outside of the franchise. Over the past decade, Evans and Johansson have become the centerpieces of the greatest film franchise of all time. Johansson beat Evans onscreen with their Marvel roles, as she debuted as Black Widow in Iron Man 2 in 2010, while Evans’ first appearance as Captain America came in 2011. Captain America: The First Avenger.
They immediately started working on their first MCU team, with The Avengers Kicking off the fan favorite friendship between Steve Rogers and Natasha Romanoff. After working together in this film, Johansson once again became one of the biggest supporting characters in Evans’ second solo film. Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The two then teamed up after the fall of SHIELD in Avengers: Age of Ultron and have been opposed for a while for Captain America: Civil War. Both then had roles in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Overall, they’ve appeared in six MCU movies together and made Captain America and Black Widow their closest allies.
Acting in six films in just seven years, Evans and Johansson have spent a lot of time together. They’ve developed a great friendship that stretches offscreen, which is why their onscreen chemistry with each other is so believable. However, a working relationship between Evans and Johansson existed long before they shared the screen as Marvel superheroes. They’ve starred in several movies together outside of the MCU, and the partnership is even expected to continue in the future.
The perfect score
Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson first starred in a movie together in 2004 The perfect score. Evans stars as Kyle, who needs a high SAT score to enter Cornell University’s architecture program. Meanwhile, Johansson plays a girl from his school named Francesca whose father owns the building where the SAT answers are located. The two of them, and others, are working together to devise a plan to steal SAT responses. Although successful, the students ultimately decide not to cheat their way to college. Evans and Johansson are not in love The perfect score, because their two characters have relations elsewhere.
Evans and Johansson got back together to Nanny diaries in 2007. The comedy starred Johansson as the titular nanny, Annie Braddock, who gets the job after saving a boy from being hit by a car. His new career allows him to cross paths with “Harvard Hottie” as he is known for most of the movie, which is played by Evans. During the course of the film, Annie begins dating Hayden aka “Harvard Hottie”. This was the last time they appeared onscreen together before joining the MCU, and Nanny diaries This is the only time their characters are in a romantic relationship.
Little shop of horrors
Now that the MCU is behind them (well, almost in Johansson’s case), they don’t wait too long to work together again. It has been reported that the next Little shop of horrors remake could bring them together. Chris Evans is confirmed to be a part of the film and will play dentist Orin Scrivello. It has also been reported that Scarlett Johansson is the first choice to play Audrey, Scrivello’s main wife and girlfriend. It has not yet been confirmed that Johansson will take on the role, but with her and Evans having teamed up so many times before, her involvement could seal the deal.
