Manchester United and Arsenal will know their Europa League group stage opponents next week as the road to Budapest begins in earnest.
Eintracht Frankfurt edged Rangers on penalties in a dramatic final last season to book their Champions League spot.

The Europa League group stage draw is approaching
Scottish giants Rangers could still join them in Europe’s top flight, but they will have to fight their way through the play-offs first.
If they fall to PSV in the finals, they will be back in the Europa League to hopefully embark on another cup adventure.
The will join Premier League representatives United and Arsenal, who both aspired to play in the Champions League.
West Ham narrowly missed the chance to improve on their semi-final last season after finishing seventh domestically.
Europa League draw: Date and how to follow
The draw for the group stage of this season’s tournament will take place on friday august 26.
It kicks off at 12pm UK time and will be held in Istanbul, Turkey, the venue for the 2023 Champions League final.

Europa League: the teams involved
Nantes, Union Saint-Gilloise and Union Berlin all make their first appearances in the group stage of the tournament.
There will be 32 teams taking part and at the time of writing there are 16 confirmed with the others following after the qualifying rounds.

Europa League draw: who can play against whom?
As with all UEFA competitions, teams from the same association cannot be drawn into the same group at this stage.
Therefore, United and Arsenal won’t face each other in the Europa League until 2023 at the earliest, provided they both go through.
Teams may also be split for political reasons and this will be confirmed before the draw begins.
