Erykah Badu cut an edgy figure as she sported an array of jaw-dropping outfits for a sensational magazine photo shoot with her daughter Puma.
The 51-year-old American singer showed off her sense of style by posing on a sunny beach as she appeared as the cover star of Vogue in March.
She was joined by her daughter Puma, 18, who she shares with rapper The DOC, for a stunning black and white snap as they discussed their relationship.
Puma is Erykah’s personal assistant with her boyfriend Sean, but the teenager insisted it was a ‘real job’ and said she still had to ‘buckle up’ and work hard.
In a sensational snap, Erykah showed off a rich oversized emerald velvet jacket, which she styled with an extravagant personalized Hailey Desjardins hat.

She showed off her stunning features with a light dusting of natural makeup and styled her dark tresses cascading loosely down her back.
In another snap, the On&On hitmaker wore a gold fur-lined jacket from her own brand as she gazed out to sea while soaking up the sun.
Another photo showed her paddling through the shallows in an oversized gray Loewe sweatshirt, which she paired with black Balenciaga slip-ons.
She wore a black pointed Yohji Yamamoto hat and accessorized her look with an array of anklets.
For a final black and white photo, Erykah wore a distressed white T-shirt and a string of pearl necklaces as she posed with her daughter.
Puma cut a relaxed figure in a white Banana Republic t-shirt as she posed with her eyes closed while snuggling up to her mother.
Puma is Erykah’s oldest daughter as she also shares 14-year-old Mars with Jay Electronica and. Erykah also has a son Seven, 25, with rapper André 3000.
Along with inheriting her mother’s musical talents, Puma also entered into the family business and worked as Erykah’s personal assistant for just over a year.

However, Puma insisted she still had to work hard in the role, as did her boyfriend Sean, who is also employed as a personal assistant.
She told Vogue: “I don’t know how the other family workplace dynamics go, but it’s like a real job, and I have to buckle up and do what I have to do, or else the CEO and I will be informed “I will not be paid. You know what I mean?’
Meanwhile, Erykah couldn’t help but rave about her daughter, who she described as a “very giving person”.
“Puma is a very generous person,” she said. “I really like the woman she is becoming.”

Elsewhere, Erykah also opened up about her influences in her timeless music, adding, “I feel like I punched that hole in the dam.
It’s this little hole and all this water seeps in. Now all people who have the same energy can experience what I am experiencing.
Erykah, née Erica Wright, is set to hit the stage again this year with performances in Dallas, Texas later in February and early September.
In August 2021, Erykah also notably leaked images of former President Barack Obama’s 60th birthday party.

Erykah had performed with members of her band and successfully convinced Obama to take the stage as part of the celebration.
