Erling Haaland is looking to recreate Chelsea’s European triumph to win the Champions League in his career.
He is on the rise and one of the best center-forward in Europe at the age of 20. Having scored 41 goals in 41 appearances last season, Haaland’s stock continues to rise, which has led him to attract interest in the Premier League, especially from figures like Chelsea and Manchester City.
Chelsea are very interested in the Norwegian and the club continue to explore possible avenues to negotiate a transfer.
They have just won the Champions League after the victory in Portugal against Man City on May 29 and Haaland has revealed that he wants to one day follow in the footsteps of the Blues.
What did Erling Haaland say?
Speaking to the Telegraph, he revealed: “This is my big dream. Win the Champions League one day. Hope I can lift that trophy and that would be really, well, amazing.
He added: “As far back as I can remember, even when I was very young, I watched the Champions League.
“There were great teams with huge legends scoring goals. So it became my dream. My dream was to play in the Champions League, to score in the Champions League. You know that’s where it is. the best players play and that’s where the best players belong. “
Dortmund want to keep Haaland for another season, but Chelsea are doing everything they can to try and get him to West London this summer.
