Erling Haaland is already breaking records at the age of 21 and continues to show no signs of slowing down, let alone stopping.

He already has 14 Premier League goals in eight games since joining Man City in the summer and continues to shine on the European stage as well.

He was there again in the Champions League, and although it wasn’t a hat-trick this time around, he managed two goals in his side’s Champions League clash against the Danish champions , FC Copenhagen, Wednesday night.

The double means he has now equaled Barcelona legends Rivaldo and Luis Suarez on goals scored in the Champions League.

The former Borussia Dortmund striker scored within seven minutes of the game as a ball from Joao Cancelo found its way to the City hitman, who kicked the ball home with his foot right.

Haaland scored again in the 34th minute, when Sergio Gomez’s corner was parried by former Liverpool goalkeeper Kamil Grabara, only for the Norwegian to finish from six yards out.

This meant his Champions League goal tally now stood at a remarkable 27 goals in just 22 appearances.

He also becomes the third player to score in each of his first three appearances for an English club in Europe’s elite competition, after Marouane Chamakh for Arsenal and Ferran Torres for Man City.

The Sky Blues then made it 3-0 before half-time, after fantastic play from former Barcelona youngster Gomez deflected past two Copenhagen defenders, before the ball went through Davit Khocholava.

Riyad Mahrez marked his 200th appearance for City with a goal after the break.

The Algeria international fired home from the penalty spot in the 55th minute to make it 4-0, after Aymeric Laporte was fired in from a corner before Julian Alvarez made it 5-0 .
