Kane has had injury scares but will be fit to face the Americans this week in a crucial game in the hunt for knockout football ahead of the Three Lions’ final group clash against Wales.
The Tottenham frontman played a big role against Iran and didn’t play in his usual leading position, but rather a traveling centre-forward who found himself in space on the wings and even got a help accordingly.
But this match could allow him to play more in the center and on the shoulder with the United States while against Wales he showed a lot of faults in his defense.
England’s attack was on fire against Iran and there should be more to give the American defenders a hard time and it could lead to even more yellow cards for the USMNT.
They received four yellows in their opener against Wales but could see even more against the tricky Three Lions.
Zimmerman was lucky to walk away with a caution after a few big fouls and could go into the book, especially without the risk of suspension having previously avoided it.
Fulham’s Robinson has played an important role in the USA defense and will again be called upon to face the plethora of England wingers – Raheem Sterling, Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden, Jack Grealish and the forwards.
He also escaped the book against Wales despite some fouls and may not get away with it this time.
