England expect Harry Kane to be fit for Friday’s World Cup clash with the United States.
The Three Lions skipper has undergone pre-emptive analysis of a knock to the ankle he suffered in Monday’s 6-2 win over Iran.

The injury was caused by Morteza Pouraliganji following a challenge in the 48th minute, although he continued until the 75th minute.
The 29-year-old was later seen strapped on his ankle and walking cautiously after the game.
It raised fears of another ankle problem, something that has plagued Spurs throughout his career.
Kane went for a scan on Wednesday, but the English side are confident he can play his second group game with the United States on Friday.
Three Lions goalkeeper Jordan Pickford also gave a positive assessment of Kane’s possible injury, suggesting they weren’t too worried about it.

“I think he’s good, probably just a little sore,” said the Three Lions keeper.
“I’m sure he’s fine, he was on the grass with us today which is good. He’s our captain.
The Spurs striker had an indoor recovery session on Tuesday, as did the rest of the England squad who faced Iran on Monday.
The development is a boost for England, whose manager Gareth Southgate played down concerns over the issue immediately after the game against Iran.
“I think Harry is fine,” the manager said of the 2018 Golden Boot winner.
“I mean, it looked like a bad tackle, but he carried on into the game and we took him off, really, because we felt like it was a time when we could do it.”
Harry Maguire is also expected to be in fine form against the United States, after feeling weak in the win over Iran.
