The big man of the Boston Celtics, Enes Kanter, has been one of Jayson Tatum’s biggest supporters this season.
The trend continued on Monday as Kanter went on Twitter to announce that he is waiting for the NBA to name Tatum as the player for the Eastern Conference in February.

Tatum has appeared in 55 games with the Celtics this season. The youngster took his game to another level, with an average of 23.5 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.9 assists while shooting at 45.0% from the ground, 39.6% from the line of 3 points and 81.6% of the charity strip.
In February, the Boston swingman set up a stellar line of statistics of 30.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 3.2 assists in 12 games.
The game slowed down for Tatum, who scores very easily this season. The Celtics are also thrilled to see him integrate easily with star point guard Kemba Walker, who previously said that one of the reasons he signed with Boston was that he wanted to play with Tatum.
Certainly, the president of the Celtics of basketball operations and general manager Danny Ainge is starting to look really smart not to trade Tatum. After all, it looks like he will soon become a superstar.
Boston has a good chance of winning the Eastern Conference this season. For this to happen, Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum and Gordon Hayward must all play at a high level after the playoffs begin. Enes Kanter must also contribute off the bench on a consistent basis.
The Celtics lost to the Milwaukee Bucks in the second round of the 2019 qualifiers. However, they will likely have to go through Milwaukee to win the East this time.
