Leyla Harding proved she had a secret talent as an escapologist in Emmerdale on Thursday night as she managed to escape a room that had been locked from the outside.
Emmerdale viewers were confused when she suddenly appeared in the Dales to tell a worried Priya Sharma (Fiona Wade) where David Metcalfe (Matthew Wolfenden) was hiding his daughter Amba.
They had last seen Leyla (Roxy Shahidi) knocking on a door after being trapped inside by David after arriving at his Airbnb hideout to confront him about his plan to kidnap Amba.

The dramatic storyline began when a distressed David decided to take his daughter in his van on a ‘great adventure’ after hearing Priya’s plans to take Amber to London for a new life after finding himself a job in the big smoke.
But when Leyla pointed out where he was hiding, things went from bad to worse when the father decided to lure her into a room and lock her after she threatened to call the police.
But in a strange twist of fate, the next scene saw Leyla pulling up in her car to tell Priya she knew where David was – only for him to arrive on the scene moments later.

Leyla later told him that he would be charged by Airbnb for a door, leading viewers to conclude that she kicked down the door.
But some viewers were frustrated with Priya’s exit storyline.
