She was present at a Q&A for her new movie, the risque comedy-drama Good Luck to You, Leo Grande.

The acclaimed actress, 63, goes naked in her role as the 55-year-old who strikes up a relationship with a young sex worker, played by Peaky Blinders star Daryl McCormack.

Thompson was dressed in a sleek black unbuttoned jacket, black shirt, neon gold leggings and cool black shoes.

She accessorized her look with a sleek bob cut, bright red lipstick and a glowing foundation that complemented her own natural glow beautifully.

Excited Sydneysiders lined up for the chance to see the two-time Oscar winner in the flesh and Emma did not disappoint.

The Sense and Sensibility star gave fans a warm welcome and even reached out to kiss the baby girl of a star smitten.

Emma was recently at the center of a debate over her next film, which sees her don a “big suit” for the role of Roald Dahl’s Miss Trunchbull in a big-screen musical adaptation of Matilda.

With the release of the expected film’s trailer last week, a debate arose over whether Emma was the right cast for the key character in Dahl’s beloved 1988 book.

Some commenters said that Emma, ​​who wore a similar costume to play Karen in Love Actually, wearing bodily prostheses is “offensive”.
