Emily Ratajkowski is out in the skin of the summer. No, it was not a small heel. It wasn’t a clunkadelic hoof either. And it wasn’t a strappy stylus. Instead, Ratajkowski stepped out in a sneaker courtesy of the Salomon label. Shades of purple and blue, they went rather well with her subtly flared black pants, her tiny halter top by Gimiguas with a colorful striped pattern reminiscent of a candied sunset, and her orange shrug that flared out. wound around the thumb and index finger.
Compared to the rest of this look, the shoes were a bit of a wild card. Traditionally, Salomon has been loved by those who enjoy all things active: trail running, regular running or hiking. (They have a dedicated shoe for each category!) Still, over the past few years, mother earth sneakers have made their way into urban landscapes, as well as onto the feet of the fashion crowd. In fact, the shoe has been worn by Rihanna and Dev Hynes. In Ratajkowski’s case, the sneaker is a stellar piece to ground his spicy ensemble.
