Couldn’t get tickets for Elton John’s Farewell Tour? Toronto’s Rick Camilleri wants to deliver the next best thing to Niagara fans.
The former CBS record salesman tours the United States and Canada as Elton Rohn, transforming into ’70s Elton with a full band and elaborate show.
He will bring the Crocodile Rock to the Niagara Falls Convention Center on May 12 for a show to benefit Diabetes Canada.
Diabetes affects approximately 11.5 million Canadians, with one person diagnosed every three minutes.
Camilleri says he has performed around 300 festivals, gigs and private gigs as Elton Rohn.
The real Elton John is currently in the midst of a massive farewell tour dubbed “Farewell Yellow Brick Road”. It started in 2018 and is expected to end this summer.
Prior to the tour, John performed at the Meridian Center in St. Catharines in November 2017.
Tickets for the tribute show at the Convention Center are between $38.75 and $48.73 including taxes and fees, available at mvp.tickets.com
