Elton John has made a candid revelation about his future for the sake of his family and his sons, Zachary and Elijah
Elton JohnRetirement plans seem to be getting further and further away after his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour was postponed to 2023 due to ongoing health issues.

the candle in the wind the hitmaker hinted his latest show couldn’t come soon enough in a new interview, as he admitted he had ‘enough applause’ and just wanted to spend time with his family and two sons , Zachary, ten, and Elijah, eight.

Speaking about his world tour, which was due to end in 2022, Elton said NME: “Right now, I’m supposedly ending in 2023, in the summer, when I’ll be 76 – and that’s it, baby. I can’t wait to do it and have a good time, and I can’t wait to finish and say, “No more, I’ve had enough.”
“I’ll do records and do my radio show, but what about schlepping and doing shows? I’ve had enough applause. I want to be with my family. I want to be with my boys.”

He added: “I will always be creative, but I don’t want to spend the rest of my life flying here, flying there. I can’t do more than what I’ve done now and save for the weird. charity thing it can happen, that’s all for me.”
Elton announced last month that he had been forced to postpone his tour due to “considerable pain and discomfort” after a bad fall left him with a damaged hip.
In a statement on social media, Elton said: “It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I am forced to postpone the 2021 dates of my Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in Europe and the UK to 2023. .”

Explaining his injury, he continued: “At the end of my summer vacation, I fell awkwardly onto a hard surface and since then have had considerable pain and discomfort in my hip.
“Despite intensive physiotherapy and specialist treatment, the pain continues to worsen and causes increasing difficulty in moving. I have been advised to have surgery as soon as possible to get back to full health and ensure there are no long- term complications.“
He concluded: “I will be undertaking an intensive physiotherapy program which will ensure full recovery and a return to full mobility without pain.”
