Six-time Grammy winner Elton John will perform on tour in North America for the last time this Sunday – a grand finale that will be captured in a live Disney+ show called ‘Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium “.
The three-hour concert will also feature Dua Lipa, Kiki Dee and Brandi Carlile, Disney+ announced Nov. 14. All three artists have collaborated with John on top songs before, like him and Lipa’s 2021 release “Cold Heart (PNAU Remix)”
Dodger Stadium’s mass send-off is expected to draw more than 50,000 attendees. The performance is an extension of John’s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour and footage from the evening will be incorporated into the upcoming Disney Original documentary ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road: The Final Elton John Performances and The Years that Made His Legend’.
How to watch ‘Elton John Live: Dodger Stadium Farewell’
“Elton John Live: Farewell from Dodger Stadium” will stream live exclusively on Disney+ on November 20 at 8 p.m. PT. The program is produced by Fulwell 73 Productions and Rocket Entertainment.
Aside from the regular program, interviews with John and other undisclosed celebrities will air in the minutes leading up to the main performance.
On the same day, iHeartMedia will release a one-hour special titled “iHeartRadio Presents Elton John’s Thank You to America: The Final Song” at 10:00 p.m. PT. The special includes a snippet of John’s career highlights as well as a live stream of his latest song and closing remarks during the broadcast from Dodger Stadium.
In anticipation of his final North American broadcast, Select iHeartRadio stations AC, CHR, Classic Rock and Classic Hits will also chronicle John’s legacy through performances and interviews that will run from November 14 through November 20. Fans can also listen to the station’s digital Big Classic Hits and Today’s Mix via the iHeartRadio website or app.
