Ellen DeGeneres is back to scare her guests… just in a COVID friendly way this time around.
The talk show host pranks Luke Bryan on his show Tuesday by catching him off guard with a hovercraft.
The fear arises after passing a beer in the same box by a hand wearing gloves after telling DeGeneres how long his fight with COVID-19 has gone without having a drink.
He jokes that the person in the box wouldn’t have come just to give him a beer, so he should have known that DeGeneres was up to something.
Bryan shares his recent battle with the coronavirus: “I had a day or two where it was pretty bad. I never lost my taste and smell, then I rocked back, got a little tired but came back to normal [and] feel good. “

Bryan jokes, “What I’m learning about my position is that a lot of people get upset anyway.”
He says of the twist, “These kids from last year never had the chance to be on the big show with all the lights and cameras on, to have the wardrobe and stuff. So we brought back the candidates from last year.
