Cherry first played for Harleston Magpies at the age of 17 and recently returned to her former club.
Cherry has had a passion for the sport from an early age and was named Young Player of the Year in 2009.
The hockey enthusiast based her decision to attend Duke University in Durham, North Carolina, on their exceptional reputation for the sport.
She then led her team to the final of the British University Championships for two consecutive years in 2012 and 2013.

Cherry was also handpicked to play for the England national under-18 team, where she won bronze and silver medals.
