This collaboration will result in the offering of the Huawei Smart Energy Fusion product for use in hybrid solar solutions for the African market.
In a statement, DPA said the partnership will expand the company’s product offering by providing improved storage and accelerate adoption of its retail electricity offering of reliable and cost-effective power for home and business customers. small and medium enterprises.
According to the Econet unit, the Huawei Smart Energy Fusion product will initially be deployed in selected DPA markets, namely Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa and Kenya.
He notes that energy supply and storage are quickly becoming of great importance, especially in countries with unstable grid conditions.
Huawei is offering DPA a solution that guarantees up to 30% more energy, a stable power supply and financial savings for end users, according to the Econet subsidiary.
The DPA notes that given the “new normal” brought on by the pandemic, home offices now require reliable power service to support digital communication.

He points out that renewable energy technology like this is a step towards building fully functional off-grid communities.
With the Huawei Smart Energy Fusion product, DPA will be able to increase electrical capacity for customers wishing to scale.
The product is designed with modular and scalable chain battery technology from 5kW to 30kW on each cell, providing customers with flexible investment.
Depending on the company, it can be installed with or without solar panels and connected to the grid or generator to provide optimum power.
The technology comes with active protection based on artificial intelligence to protect the system from electrical faults with a built-in app to give users a better experience.
DPA says it will offer the product with its customized energy solutions on flexible financing terms.
