EAST RUTHERFORD, NJ – The Philadelphia Eagles are already limping toward the playoffs, losing four of five games. Already without DeVonta Smith (ankle), the Eagles experienced a scary moment as top receiver AJ Brown was on the ground for several minutes holding his right knee after a fumble.

Brown got up and left under his own power, but headed toward the blue medical tent and into the locker room. No carts or assistance were needed when Brown left the field. After initially being listed as a questionable returner, Brown was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

One positive: Brown’s ACL appears intact after initial examination, according to NFL Media.

With Brown and Smith out (Smith was declared inactive before the game), Quez Watkins, Julio Jones and Britain Covey are the best players on the roster. The Eagles offense also already has D’Andre Swift (illness) inactive for this game.
