But it looks like ‘The Great One’ worked as hard in the gym as he learned the script.
The Rock shared two snaps of himself with his 241 million Instagram followers as he proudly showed off his vein-bursting biceps and legs.
He captioned them with: “Great week for #BlackAdam to shoot my ‘champion’ scenes with my shirt on and showing my body.
“I have worked extremely hard to diet, train and prepare, unlike any role in my entire career.
“Manipulating water, sodium, cardio but also having to push and pull real iron to have dense, dry and detailed muscles. It’s real science that takes months and months to put everything together with my strength and conditioning trainer @daverienzi keeping a very vigilant eye, constantly refining our strategy on a daily basis.

“Then his rage darkens his soul, forever becoming Black Adam. Big week, grateful for the grind and support – here we are.”
Meanwhile, The Rock’s daughter is already making waves in her quest to follow her father into the ring.

Simone Johnson, 19, showed up at the WWE Performance Center to start training earlier this year.
She aims to become the first fourth generation fighter in the history of the sport.
Before his father wowed the world with his People’s Elbow and Rock Bottom, his father Rocky Johnson was also a crowd favorite.
And ‘High Chief’ grandfather Peter Maivia also strutted into the wrestling ring in the 1970s.
However, Simone is already showing signs that she is about to forge a great career.
Dave Meltzer recently reported on her progress to Wrestling Observer Radio and claimed she is making brilliant progress.
He said she was “the most improved development talent in squats for the period January-May 2021” and was at the top of the rankings sent internally to the company.
After signing with WWE, Simone said, “It means the world to me. Knowing that my family has such a personal connection to wrestling is really special to me and I feel grateful to have the opportunity not only to struggle but to carry on that legacy.
