Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has never shied away from expressing his love for his daughters online. He shares Tiana, 2, and Jasmine (aka Jazzy), 5, with wife Lauren Hashian, and he’s also dad to Simone, 19, with ex-wife Dany Garcia.
In a cute photo posted on Facebook, the “Hobbs & Shaw” actor can be seen walking hand in hand with Tiana.
“Every man wants a son, but every man needs a daughter,” Johnson wrote in the caption. “All of my girls have become the great equalizers of my life – I’m surrounded by estrogen and I wouldn’t have it any other way… and I hope she never gets tired of holding those big dinosaur hands, even though I ‘suspects one day she will.
Johnson added the hashtag #pomaikai, which means “blessed” or “lucky” in Hawaiian.
Johnson previously joked that he was unable to “do” boys. In December 2017, before his Tiana arrived, he told Jimmy Kimmel on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” how excited he was to raise a third daughter.
“I have good swimmers, Jimmy,” he said. “I feel good. I’ve been raised by women my whole life, basically. And this is my third daughter. [I’m] surrounded by estrogen. Bring estrogen!
Around the same time, Johnson took to Instagram to say the family are expecting a baby girl.
“And once again, Grandpa is completely surrounded by magnificent estrogen and powerful, loving female mana,” he wrote in the caption. “All the girls. A guy. And a dog boy. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Johnson often shares glimpses of his parenting life on social media. Last year, a video of him singing a bedtime song to Tiana sparked a lot of love. In fact, it was more bedtime rap. Rather than your typical lullaby, this dad-daughter duo’s choice was “You’re Welcome” from the Disney movie “Moana,” in which Johnson voices the Polynesian demigod Maui.
The adorable video was posted to Facebook in April 2020.
“And for the 1,927th time, I’ll be singing ‘You’re Welcome’ to baby Tia as part of our daddy / daughter nighttime negation. [sic] go to bed! ”Johnson wrote in the caption.“ But the truth is that spending all this time at home with my ladies has been a real blessing in this madness that we all experience. And for the record, she still does. no idea her daddy is actually “Maui” from Moana.
