The highly anticipated first episode of the American sitcom Young Rock premiered on NBC on February 16, 2021. The sitcom is based on the life of actor-wrestler Dwayne Johnson, aka The Rock, and is created by Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang. Now before the premiere of Young rock’s Episode 2 Today, Dwayne took to his Instagram handle to share an anecdote from his teenager and revealed why everyone at school mistook him for an “undercover cop.”

Earlier today, on February 23, 2021, Dwayne Johnson took to his Instagram account to share an important self-reported photo of his teenager, which read, “Young Rock is NBC’s best comedy launch since 2017 “. As well as sharing the same, he expressed, writing, “This #YoungRock news is pretty awesome and thanks a lot for making it possible.” He also took a walk down memory lane and added: “At 15 I was already 6’4,220 pounds with a full mustache and when I transferred schools to a different state EVERYBODY thought I ‘was an undercover cop … and all the girls … avoided me like the plague .. thanks to 21 Jump Street (sic) “.

Young rock’s first episode aired on NBC last week and the sitcom follows Dwyane Johson’s journey and takes viewers through his childhood. The show features Dwayne’s life in 1982, 1987 and the 1990s and will also feature a fictional future of the Jumanji: the next level actor, in which he competes for president. The first episode of the NBC series, Work the gadget, got an astonishing rating from Rotten Tomatoes, which is currently 88%.
The long-awaited second episode of Young Rock, titled On the road once more, is ready to air tonight. Conversely, the American sitcom airs every Tuesday on NBC. According to the official NBC website, the description on Young Rock reads: “Every legend has a beginning. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson stars in a larger than life family comedy based on scandalous stories from his youth.
