There are many “What IFs” in UFC history? However, the crossover of WWE Superstars with MMA might be unrealistic.

Although there were a few wrestlers who went straight into the martial arts, their success was not imminent.

The only achievement is for former UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. The thing is, the transition from WWE to UFC is incredibly difficult.

However, one formidable force that could have had success, if at all, is six-time WWE Champion Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. At least according to UFC President Dana White.

UFC boss Dana White says ‘The Rock’ would have made an outstanding martial artist. White said he thought Johnson “would have done very well.”

It would be an understatement to say that Dwayne Johnson has done very well. Over the past two decades, “The Great One” has arguably been the leading figure in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, he has recently made his presence known within the martial arts community. Johnson has come under fire from UFC legend Nate Diaz on several occasions.

However, Nate Diaz is one to hold grudges. As reported during fight week when he shared his honest opinion on Johnson’s shoe brand. The brand recently partnered with the UFC. The 209 hometown hero also challenged “DJ” to a fight.

The alliance of “The Rock” with Jorge Masvidal, led to the initiation of the feud. The fight between Masvidal and Diaz in 2019 was the main reason for the beef.

Nonetheless, on a recent episode of “BBQguys,” when asked by Cooper Manning how Johnson would have fared inside the Octagon, Dana White replied-

“I think if ‘The Rock’ had started training MMA when he was younger, he would have done very well.”
