As reported by Games Radar, the new trailer saw clips of Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Aquaman, and Birds of prey, but the original version also included a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment of the villainous Steppenwolf slamming the ground with his axe. This part is taken from the 2017 version of the film – in Zack Snyder’s Justice Leaguethe scene instead sees the villainous Darkseid hitting the ground.
Dwayne Johnson re-shared the trailer with a “corrected” version of the trailer along with the caption: “Corrected Long before the world of heroes and villains, #BlackAdam ruled all. A god without mercy and without power born of rage. The #ManInBlack hits theaters worldwide… IN A MONTH TODAY. OCTOBER 21”
The official synopsis read, “In ancient Kahndaq, Teth Adam was given almighty powers from the gods. After using these powers for revenge, he was imprisoned, becoming Black Adam. Almost 5,000 years have passed and Black Adam has gone from man to myth to legend. Now unleashed, his unique form of justice, born of rage, is challenged by the modern-day heroes who form the Justice Society: Hawkman, Dr. Fate, Atom Smasher, and Cyclone.
Dwayne Johnson stars alongside Aldis Hodge in Hawkman, Noah Centineo in Atom Smasher, Sarah Shahi, Marwan Kenzari, Quintessa Swindell in Cyclone, Mo Amer, Bodhi Sabongui and Pierce Brosnan in Dr. Fate. Collet-Serra directed from a screenplay written by Adam Sztykiel and Rory Haines & Sohrab Noshirvani, based on DC characters, based on characters created by Bill Parker and CC Beck.
The film’s producers are Beau Flynn, Hiram Garcia, Dwayne Johnson and Dany Garcia, with Toby Emmerich, Richard Brener, Dave Neustadter, Chris Pan, Walter Hamada, Adam Schlagman, Geoff Johns, Eric McLeod and Scott Sheldon executive producing.
