Bernie Sanders

During his campaign, the people’s self-proclaimed candidate garnered constant support from List A. Celebrities such as actor Danny DeVito and director Michael Moore were vocal activists for the Vermont senator, while musicians such as Public Enemy, Bon Iver, The Strokes, Lucy Dacus and Vampire Weekend have all recently performed at Sanders gatherings.

As a British citizen, Dua Lipa cannot vote herself, but pop sensation tweeted Tuesday to support Sanders, urging supporters to think of new leadership internationally. Companion “it girl” and model Emily Ratajkowski prompted the hashtag #HotGirlsForBernie to post a photo of her holding her ballot while wearing a T-shirt with the politician’s face on it.

Although Sanders has a large audience among those under 30, he has been able to extend its reach to a large audience. Actors Cynthia Nixon, Mark Ruffalo and John Cusack also tweeted their support.

Last week, our 8 year old asked why we were supporting Bernie.

When we got to the party on the Green New Deal and saving our planet, he opened his eyes and hopeful and said “you mean we can change that?”

Joe Biden thinks it’s “unrealistic”. Bernie says we can and should – for our children. https://t.co/tmF82YsHYn

Come on people Super Tuesday – look at this – you know what to do – tomorrow you are the law – act justly – vote @Bernie Sanders

Elizabeth Warren

Warren has gained the support of many feminists through his progressive values. The Massachusetts senator is supported by Twitter queen Chrissy Teigen and politically inclined celebrities such as Ashley Judd and John Legend.

I vote @ewarren Tuesday
I am also a realist and I believe I have a plan B. What do you think of a Biden / Stacey Abrams ticket?

– Kathy Griffin (@kathygriffin) March 1, 2020

Actress Kathy Griffin made it clear that she was voting for Warren, but asked her subscribers what they thought of a possible Joe Biden / Stacey Abrams post. Actress Constance Wu tweeted about attending a rally in Warren last Sunday and continued to retweet pro-Warren news before Super Tuesday.

Meanwhile, artist Janelle Monáe’s succinct tweet – “Elizabeth Warren”. – collected more than 70,000 likes.

Joe Biden

The former vice president has been popular with older voters and centrist democrats who think he can unite the party with his years of experience. Pop icon Cher posted tweets on Monday in support of Biden, even saying, “I’m going to stay with him forever,” before posting a photo of the two together.

Joe Biden didn’t have ENDLESS BILLIONS 2 BUY VOTES, he didn’t get help from Zuckerberg, he didn’t campaign
4 Five years, he’s not the new kid in the neighborhood, HE “DID” Trump’s “WHOLE” SQUAD, TRY 2 DESTROY HIS LIFE.
BLOOMBERG CANT BUY??SO He will prevent Joe from winning him

Rosie O’Donnell, whose quarrel with President Trump predates his political career, used the hashtag #BidenbeatsTrump to proclaim his support. (She also retweeted several articles about the Sanders judgment.)

Mia Farrow also tweeted to support Biden but later added, “I support @JoeBiden but if Bernie is the candidate, I will vote poorly for him and I hope all Bernie supporters will do the same if Joe wins. We have to oust Trump. “

Mike Bloomberg

The billionaire and former mayor of New York was the last to join the race, but he managed to get some support for Hollywood – but not as much as his rivals.

TODAY IS SUPER TUESDAY, as if you didn’t know.
And I’m all for @MikeBloomberg. Rail everything you want against me, but I saw New York move from its knees to its upright and proud position after September 11. It was a long, difficult journey; not without errors, but it did.

– Bette Midler (@BetteMidler) March 3, 2020

Bette Midler seemed to anticipate the backlash she would receive for her support for Bloomberg, but cited her work as mayor as a contributing factor.

New York fashion designer and resident Isaac Mizrahi also supports Bloomberg’s candidacy for president. He appeared in a Bloomberg campaign video last month, tweeting, “I lived in New York @ MikeBloomberg, and I saw him fighting every day for the LGBTQ + community. And not just adults. He fought for the children who are so vulnerable. We need that kind of compassion from our next president. “
