The hard work Dober put into this training camp is finally coming to an end and he’s excited to put on a show for the fans.
“We just worked to be a better athlete,” Dober said. “Obviously fixing the holes, but really trying to get bigger, faster, stronger, and then having a better opportunity to really force my technique. It’s been amazing and I feel really good about it.

Dober’s opponent this weekend has seven wins by knockout and eight by submission. Alves’ strengths on the pitch are something the 33-year-old is fully aware of as fight night approaches, but he’s ready for anything the Brazilian can bring to the Octagon.
“He’s really athletic and has a pretty solid sash,” Dober said. “Other than that he’s enthusiastic and chaotic so I’m not sure what he’s going to bring in the 15 minutes we’re in there, but I know he’s going to try and put things on me very quickly. I’m just ready for any Rafael that comes along.
