Drake’s most recent musical release came on rapper Gunna’s track P Power, on which he performed a verse.
The track was originally slated to be released on the performer’s album DS4EVER, which debuted last Friday.
It was then announced that the song had been removed from the record, which surprised many of the rapper’s fans.
P Power was eventually included on an alternate version of the album, titled Drip Season Forever.

The artist recently withdrew his nominations as a performer for the upcoming Grammy Awards.
The hitmaker was previously nominated for Best Rap Album for his work on his latest album, Certified Lover Boy.
He was also nominated for Best Rap Performance for his track Way 2 Sexy, which featured Young Thug and Future.

Last month, Variety reported that despite submitting his work for awards, Drake withdrew his applications.
The artist’s reasons for his actions have not been made public since then.
Representatives for the hitmaker also did not immediately provide comment when asked by the outlet.
Drake previously defended The Weeknd when his friend was snubbed by the Recording Academy in 2020.

The artist shared a lengthy message on his Instagram account where he expressed via Variety that artists shouldn’t take the Grammys very seriously in terms of artistic validity.
“I think we should stop letting ourselves be shocked every year by the disconnect between hard-hitting music and these awards,” he wrote.
The performer also encouraged her fans to “simply accept that what was once the highest form of recognition no longer matters to the artists out there now and those to come after.”

He added: “It’s like a parent you expect to fix, but they just can’t change their ways.”
