She’s a TV veteran known for both long-running crime and family dramas.

After beginning her career in children’s shows and sitcoms, she starred in several critically acclaimed action shows and dramas.

Her starring role in a popular comedy-drama won her the coveted Gold Logie in 2010.

More recently, she has found new success and popularity by participating in a series of popular cooking competitions.

The well-known personality shared a treasured throwback photo on Instagram on Saturday from her high school days in the ’80s – and it was none other than Rebecca Gibney.

In the photo, the fresh-faced teenager sports a glorious bouffant style haircut as she gazes happily at the camera.

‘Back to when I had hair. Mum signed me up for deportation school and I think that was one of my first head shots,’ she wrote alongside the snap.

“I think back to so many of these photos and my previous ones. I looked glorious without makeup, without adornment,” she thought to herself.

In 2015, after turning 50, Rebecca said she had never felt so comfortable in her own skin since reaching the milestone birthday.

“I finally feel content,” Rebecca said at the time. “I have become much more at peace with myself, no amount of money can buy this feeling.”

“I used to worry so much about what people thought that it paralyzed me because I was the ultimate people pleaser.

“I think now that I’m 50, I don’t give a fuck anymore.”
