DJ Tigerlily had a miscarriage a month before getting pregnant for the second time: “It’s a little disappointing to talk about it”
DJ Tigerlily has revealed she had a miscarriage before learning she was pregnant again.
The music producer, whose real name is Dara Hayes, wrote a column in 9Honeyadmitting she and husband Scott Lawson were “very excited” to be expecting again after their sad loss.
“The month before I got pregnant with this baby, I had a miscarriage at about eight weeks. It was pretty shitty and very unexpected,” she wrote.

“We’ve been so lucky and I feel like it’s kind of triggering to talk about it because trying to conceive is so hard for some people.”
She said she didn’t think she could get pregnant right away because she “thought my body was probably going to need a rest for a while”.
But Tigerlily and Scott were ‘very excited’ when her pregnancy test came back positive a month later.

The couple recently announced that they are expecting their first child together in April next year.
