Disappointed with Apple Watch warranty service – MacRumors

On January 8, 2024, I took my Apple Watch Series 7 45mm device to an authorized service due to peeling of the band wires that was not related to me. The authorized service sent the device to the repair center. The product was returned to me without any transformation. I objected to this situation with a senior advisor (I will code it SA1). The engineering department informed me via SA1 that there was nothing that could be done.

On May 15, 2024, the device turned off and never turned back on. I returned the device to service the same day. The device was sent back to the same repair center again. This time the product was returned with an unauthorized modification (We have detected unauthorized modifications.). I objected to this situation with a senior advisor (I will code it SA2). He called me on May 22, 2024 and told me that the engineering department made the decision of unauthorized modification in the previous case (cosmetic damage). However, SA1 had told me nothing of the sort. SA1 had told me it was returned due to cosmetic damage. So if I hadn’t objected to your first question, they wouldn’t have even called it an unauthorized edit. Also, why didn’t SA1 inform me of this situation from the start? This seems entirely reasonable to me.

I have never given any of my devices to any third party service/place, not even once. I bought the device new, opened the box myself and am the only one using the device. Therefore, I am 100% sure that not only for this device, but also for the devices I currently use, there is no possibility of unauthorized modification.

I’m really disappointed with the process and wanted to know what can I do for this watch? To throw in the bin ? I don’t know.
