The Chipotle Challenger series returns for the 2020 final event, as Fortnite players have the chance to compete against a list of star influencers and win big prizes.
This is the fourth edition of the Chipotle Challenger 2020 series, and previous tournaments have been won by surprise teams, so this could be your chance. You will need to pass the qualifiers to win the winner’s prize and a year of free burritos in the final.
How to register
The contest is open to all players from the United States or Canada aged 13 and over. You will need to team up with two teammates, as this is a Trios event, and register your team here.
It’s important to note that all teams must have a PC player as the party leader, so you can line up in custom halls through Mayhem.
The top 4 teams from qualifying will then advance to the final on December 8.

Format
Qualifiers
In the Chipotle Challenger Series Fortnite event, there are four qualifiers for teams of three to try to pass. Teams score one point for each elimination won, as well as points for ranking.
- Up to 1000 trio teams
- Private lobbies for a 3 hour game window
- Ladder system that allows registrants to play for the entire 3 hour window
Final
Qualified teams then have the chance to compete against each other in a private hall with teams of superstars, celebrities and streaming athletes.

Chipotle Challenger Series Award
A total of $ 50,000 in prize money is to be won. But that’s not all – just like in previous events, the top three teams also get free burritos for a year!

Similar to the first tournament in the Challengers series, the second event on July 16 also featured a relatively unknown pair of Warzone players topping the list of entrants, taking home $ 25,000 and a year of burritos.

What is the Chipotle Challenger series?
