The recent G’Day USA Arts Gala saw the “Roar” singer present an exclusive award to Bloom’s ex-wife, Miranda Kerr. Perry has shown off her close relationship with the Australian model, who she even calls her ‘another gentleman’s sister’.
Though she broke the “ex-wife, new wife narrative,” Perry’s choice of words left fans wondering if they could have gotten married in secret. As Perry called herself the “new wife,” longtime fans began to wonder if the couple married privately. Now fans are diving deep into the subject.
So, did Perry and Bloom secretly get married? Well frankly, no, they are not currently married… yet. The couple have a lot to celebrate this month even though they haven’t had a chance to exchange vows yet. In fact, they have been engaged for four years since this Valentine’s Day. While on a helicopter trip in February 2019, Bloom actually popped the question to Perry, but things didn’t exactly go to plan.
“The champagne is, like, broken. The bottle is everywhere, and I always look at the bill,” Perry said. “He pulls out this box which is too big for his coat pocket. He rips open his coat pocket and his elbow goes into the champagne.

With speculation circulating that Perry was unsure of her intentions to marry Bloom, the pop singer has dismissed the claims, saying she won’t say ‘yes’ until the couple can wed somewhere distant and romantic.
Last year, Perry explained that it was the Covid situation that ultimately led to their delayed wedding ceremony. Luckily for them, things are starting to look up as the pandemic is currently waning.
One of Hollywood’s most desirable couples is Perry and Bloom. After three years of dating, the couple announced their engagement in 2019. Now that Perry and Bloom have been engaged for three years and show no signs of officially ending.
