In an interview with Vanity Fair shortly after their “fairytale” romance began, the actress opened up about what her relationship would be like if the two had met years ago. Their relationship created more than enough buzz in the sports and entertainment industry from the moment they were spotted together.

Speaking of whether her relationship with Alex would have been maintained if they had met earlier than them, she didn’t think the relationship would have survived.
“We had to grow up and discover ourselves first”, said Jennifer.
The couple were not afraid to dream and certainly wanted to live together. But they knew they needed to have grown up before entering into a relationship. And that’s what the famous couple did.
Jennifer and Alex first met in May 2005 at a New York Yankees game. At the time, the actress was still married to singer Marc Anthony. While the baseball player himself was married to his now ex-wife Cynthia Scurtis.
