So I grew up in professional wrestling. My dad was a wrestler and my grandfather was a wrestler, so I used to see myself showing off their bodies. But I think that often it happens to all of us. Me and my buddies and when we were wrestling and showing off our bodies we were constantly, how do I look, am I bloated? So it’s constant. I still have these insecurities.”
DIVE DEEPER
Although he mentioned his professional wrestling career as the first time he developed body insecurities, Hollywood isn’t shy about it either. Especially in the action movie industry, the main protagonist is always the handsome guy.
Everything should be perfect about him, and his muscles should pop out of his normal t-shirt as things explode behind his back. This has been the default image of a major action star.
