The Descendants sequel The Pocketwatch has added two more to the cast of the original Disney+ movie. It is in production now.
The pocket watch, a new film set in the universe of The Descendants, for the streaming service. The film will be directed by Jennifer Phang from a script of Dan Frey and Russell Sommer. Kylie Cantrall, Rita Ora, Malia Baker, and Brandy movie star, and today they add Jeremy Swift and Leonard Nam in the cast as well, according to Deadline. It will also include seven new songs, as well as other Disney classics. The pocket watch will focus on Red, the daughter of the Queen of Hearts, as well as Chole, the daughter of Cinderella and Prince Charming. No word on if the original stars Dove Cameron, Sofia Carsonor BooBoo Stewart will come back. original star Cameron Boyce sadly passed away in 2019, just before the third descent the film was released.

My family is a big fan of this franchise, so that’s good news. We’ve all wondered how they’ll continue after Boyce’s tragic passing, and focusing on new characters seems like the smartest way to go, though hopefully the original three will also make an appearance.
