With Tom Brady retired, there’s a chance the Raiders will focus on the potential trade to Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Wide receiver Davante Adams knows the trade process from Green Bay to Las Vegas after it happened to him last year. Adams said Sunday he would like to be reunited with Rodgers in 2023 and wants to express that to the Raiders’ brass.
“One million percent,” Adams said after Pro Bowl games, via Vinny Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “One hundred percent, that’s exactly what I’m trying to represent.”
Adams spent his first eight seasons catching passes from Rodgers to become one of the league’s top receivers. In 2021, he caught a career-high 123 passes for 1,553 yards with 11 touchdowns.
“Would I be interested in Aaron Rodgers throwing me?” said Adams. “Yes. I would love to. … I would love to have that, and obviously that would be a dream scenario. One that I know very well.
