UFC: Welcome to the 29th season of The Ultimate Fighter! How does it feel to have this opportunity?
Argueta: It really is special. I am honored. I am one of the lucky ones. I waited my turn and worked hard to cut the line. I needed to move on. I started at a later age compared to some of these guys; I was 23, so I’ve only been there four years. My first fight was three years ago, and I’ve only been a pro for two years.
UFC: What do you think will be the biggest challenge?
Argueta: Mentally take one fight at a time. When I wrestled as a kid, I was inconsistent. I have already faced all my losses in wrestling. Now I hate to lose, so don’t lose anymore. I’m done with it. It’s more of a challenge in my head knowing that I have to be consistent.
UFC: What do you bring to the Octagon?
Argueta: Passion. I do it with raw emotion and passion. I know what the goal is and I know my mission.

UFC: Why do you think you’ll be the guy to break into The Ultimate Fighter?
Argueta: I am fun. I am real. I will always try to work harder. Just breaking into The Ultimate Fighter is cool but I expected it. It is not a treat. I will be staying here for a long time.
