Dani Dyer says she now shares fewer photos of her son Santiago on social media after she and her baby were targeted by cruel trolls.
The former Love Island winner, 25, welcomed her first child into the world with ex Sammy Kimmence, 25, now imprisoned, in January last year.
And she’s started sharing fewer moments with her offspring with fans online in a bid to protect her and her boy, explaining during an appearance on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch on Wednesday: “I really love it. feel like you share less with social media.
Private: Dani Dyer, 25, is sharing fewer photos of her 11-month-old son Santiago online after he was targeted by cruel trolls, she said on Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch on Wednesday
“If you’re having a tough day and you’re not feeling good about yourself and somebody kind of adds it on, you’re like, ‘well, they must be right, then’. So I really think that I’ve held back a bit on social media.
On people’s reactions, she continued, “It took him a little while [to crawl]… He didn’t start crawling until he was 11 months old.
‘I was excited – it’s more of a drag, I can’t say it’s a crawl, the army crawl – I was so excited and thought I wanted to share this because all my friends with babies share it on social media.

‘So you understand that “shouldn’t it work now?” And they put on a laughing face.
“I’m not asking for this and people will say I shouldn’t advertise it, but I’m proud of my baby, I want to advertise her like any normal mum would want to.”
And it looks like life in the public eye may have deterred Dani from encouraging the same for Santiago in the future.

When asked if she would ever allow Santiago to appear on Love Island, she emphatically replied, “No!”
Dani added: ‘Love Island for me, I just went there, didn’t really think about it.
“When I came out and it was like ‘oh you wanna keep doing all the reality stuff’ I was like oh I’m really scared of myself now, I don’t really know who I am, it’s is so weird.’
Saddened: Dani said her mood was dulled when people targeted her with harsh remarks or comments on social media
The star, who is the daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer, 44, then reflected on life as a mother, insisting she had ‘changed so much in a year’ that it was ‘crazy “.
However, despite being more cautious when it comes to social media, Dani could soon be back on TV screens – her family have reportedly been offered a whopping £1million to film their own reality show.
Dani’s father Danny announced his departure from EastEnders after nine years on the BBC soap earlier this month.

“Channel 4 made him a lucrative offer that tempted him and he knows his family would make for really lively and fun TV because they’re all so down to earth and the people back home can relate to them. ”
MailOnline has contacted representatives of the Dyer family and Channel 4 for comment.
Jo previously said the Dyer Clan were offered a reality show in 2018, but Danny was under contract with EastEnders at the time.
She told The Sun: “We were offered a reality show, but Danny is under contract with the BBC.
“We always joked about it. People say we need a show in our house because there is always drama.
“One day we could do it.
