Dana White heroically saved her daughter after being attacked by an English Bull-Mastiff while Alexander Gustafsson and Daniel Cormier were in action at UFC 192.
The UFC president, who is one of the most influential figures in the fighting game, is first and foremost a family man and would do anything for his children.
However, he was forced to go above and beyond in 2015 when he received a hysterical phone call from his wife.
White, who was watching Cormier and Gustafsson fight for the UFC 192 lightweight title, learned the family pet jumped on his nine-year-old daughter and bit her ear after refusing to drop an ice cream cone. .
Recalling the story of Joe Rogan’s experience, the 51-year-old revealed how he arranged for a UFC doctor to help him sew up the ear and he even asked a specialist to ‘perform the operation.
However, White insisted that he wanted a top-level plastic surgeon to perform the routine because he knew they would be able to do more cosmetic work than the UFC medics.
Fortunately, the hand-selected surgeon was able to reattach the ear with perfect ease and performed the cosmetic procedure to an irreproachable standard.
Although it now looks like new, the dog unfortunately had to be shot as a result of the incident.
The 51-year-old is currently in Abu Dhabi for the UFC’s return to Fight Island, which kicks off tonight with Max Holloway’s first non-title since 2016 against Calvin Kattar.
