Charlottesville, Virginia – April 16, 2024 – Tiger Fuel Company, a family-owned and operated fuel distributor in Central Virginia, today announced the acquisition of Anderson Oil Company and Anderson Propane Service, Inc. of Fredericksburg, Virginia. With this investment, Tiger Fuel expands its service area from Central Virginia to today.

The acquisition joins two like-minded companies. Tiger Fuel and Anderson have dedicated more than four decades to investing in people, customer service and best practices to safely deliver to local businesses and
families a variety of energy products. With a similar corporate foundation, this move gives Tiger Fuel the ability to continue to grow intelligently in the state, following previous investments in Orange, Greene, Buckingham,
Lovingston and Appomattox areas of Virginia.
Anderson Oil Company’s 38 employees will join Tiger Fuel’s nearly 400-member team across four brands, including car wash brand TigerWash, gourmet convenience store chain, The Markets by Tiger, and a commercial and residential solar contractor, Tiger Solar. .
