Erin admits in the interview that her role as Princess Anne and the fame the performance brought her “made me assess fame early on”. I was like, “What is this weird world? What do I like, what don’t I like? How do I want to live?” It made me realize that I love to act and that I don’t want to stop doing theatre.
And when asked if she wanted to be famous, Erin exclaimed, “Why would you want that?” I want to walk down the street!’

Next up for Erin is a starring role in upcoming psychological drama Chloe. Her character Becky compares her life to the perfect existences of the Instagram influencers she follows, compulsively returning to Chloe’s account.
Erin keeps a low profile in her own life and only unveiled her own Instagram account a few years ago. She admits that the world of social media inhabited by her latest character was one she struggled to identify with.
“I’m so introverted, it’s wild. I kinda feel sorry for people who only grew up on Instagram. I used to use MSN and then shut down the computer and go downstairs and interact with people. To film Chloé, I had to download Instagram and it made me depressed. I was trying to get up in the morning and then scrolling and wasting an hour,’ she admitted. “Honestly, it made me feel bad about myself.”

Instead, Erin prefers to spend her free time at the London flat she shares with girlfriend and fellow actress Sophie Melville, where they binge on reality TV, including her favorite The Great British Bake Off.
But the actress confessed that Sophie helped her let go of her sweet tooth: “She made me feel so healthy.” I used to sit at home eating a bag of chocolates and now we have some kind of kale salad.
Erin and Sophie have collaborated on stage and recently starred together in the production of Wolfie, Ross Willis’ first play, at South London’s Theatre503, but Erin said they try not to compete for the roles, explaining:
“We understand the limitations of everyone’s work. When a self-recording audition comes up, we’re both like, ‘Let’s drop everything and do this.’
