Cristiano Ronaldo showed off his fit physique as he posed alongside his son outside a cryogenic chamber for a social media snap on Monday.
The 37-year-old sportsman and 11-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo Jr stood together outside the room as they prepared to immerse their bodies in freezing temperatures for the treatment which can help relieve muscle pain.
Sharing the photo on Twitter, the Manchester United football player wrote: ‘Recovery time with my boy’, along with an ice block emoji.

The father-son duo wore underwear from Cristiano’s CR7 men’s and boys’ range, with the star’s son sporting a pair of black gloves before heading into the bedroom.
A number of celebrities swear by cryotherapy, also known as cold therapy, which can also promote weight loss and slow the physical effects of aging.
Ronaldo’s son was born in San Diego, California in 2010 when he announced he would be caring for him under his sole guardianship while his mother decided to keep his identity private.

It comes after Cristiano and his partner Georgina Rodriguez revealed earlier this month that their newborn daughter’s name is Bella Esmeralda.
The footballer’s girlfriend, 28, announced the name she had chosen alongside three adorable photos which saw the little one sleeping in his bed… after it was confirmed that the child’s twin brother had tragically died in the birth.
Marking his location as Manchester, the photos saw their tot appear smiling while wearing a pink top as well as a white Moschino number and a knitted beanie.
She wrote in her caption: ‘Bella Esmeralda [green heart] 180422.’

Ronaldo and the former business assistant revealed their son died at birth on April 18, but their daughter survived.
Announcing his heartbreaking loss and that of Georgina earlier this month, Cristiano wrote on social media: “It is with our greatest sadness that we have to announce the passing of our little boy. It is the greatest pain a parent can feel.
“Only the birth of our little girl gives us the strength to live this moment with a little hope and happiness.

The footballer missed Man United’s midweek game against Liverpool which saw Anfield fans clap for a minute for Ronaldo and his family and chant ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’.
Following the devastating stillbirth, the couple and their other children returned home with their newborn daughter last Thursday, days after the footballer confirmed his partner had lost the child’s twin brother.
The striker shared an update on social media shortly after their baby girl returned from hospital following her birth.

Posting a photo for his 430 million followers, Ronaldo cradled his daughter as he was accompanied by his Spanish partner Georgina and their four children – three of whom the footballer fathered through surrogate mothers.
Captioning the post, he wrote: “Home sweet home. Gio and our little girl are finally with us. We want to thank everyone for all the kind words and gestures.
“Your support is very important and we have all felt the love and respect you have for our family. Now is the time to be grateful for the life we have just welcomed into this world.
