Courtney Stubbs is saved from elimination on Love Island Australia – despite remaining single after one of the reality show’s famous recouples

Courtney Stubbs was saved from elimination during Thursday’s episode of Love Island Australia.

The 23-year-old nursing student remained on the show, although she remained single after an emotional recoupling.

While her single status would normally have led to her elimination from the show, host Sophie Monk dropped a bombshell when she revealed she would stay.

Sophie, 41, explained that Courtney was safe, with viewers of the show voting her as the islander they “most want to find love in the villa.”

The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with Sophie telling Islanders that if there were currently 13, only 12 would be left.

The recoupling saw Emily Ward pick Mitch Hibberd, Taku Chimwaza pick Tina Provis, and Aaron Waters pick Jess Velkovski.

Meanwhile, Chris Graudins chose Rachael Evren, while Ryan Reid chose Lexy Thornberry, leaving Courtney on the sidelines.

According to her Love Island biography on 9Now, Courtney has been single for four years and is looking for a committed family man with a sense of humor.

“I’m not mistaken, but the guys come up to me and I can find guys. But the guys who try to date me, they just don’t quite live up to my standards, ”she said.

Meanwhile, Lexy, 20, told the other girls that she fell in love with Ryan, 25, after spending the night with him at The Hideaway.

The ‘Truth Bike’ also made an appearance, with the Islanders revealing everything, as the love triangle between Mitch, 25, Emily, 24, and Tina was developed.
