The show must continue! First Sight’s executive producer Tara McWilliams wears gloves to work as casting begins for the 2021 season
Even a global pandemic won’t stop the next married season at first glance.
As offices across Australia close to prevent the spread of the coronavirus, the show’s executive producer, Tara McWilliams, is still working hard in Sydney.
On Tuesday, Tara, who is considered one of the most powerful women on television, appeared to continue pre-production for the show’s 2021 season.

The producer posed for a colleague while wearing blue surgical masks in the office.
“I can’t cope,” the colleague joked to Tara as they shared office space.
“Let’s see if you still make fun of me when you’re in quarantine,” replied Tara.

Although the current season of Married At First Sight is still broadcast on television, the cast has recently been opened to seek participants for the 2021 offer.
Filming is scheduled to start in August, with a lot of work to do before that date.
Channel Nine and producers Endemol Shine Australia posted a casting call on MAFS ‘official Instagram account in February, inviting people to sign up.

Applicants must be over the age of 25 and must be Australian citizens or have been permanent residents for at least two years.
They must also be “single and genuinely looking for love”. This question is crucial, as producers invite applicants to be “honest” when responding.
Filming will take place towards the end of the year, and participants must be available from September to December, “with a few days of filming in August”.
