ATLANTE, November 30, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — About November 9, Donald Knight, Katie Cox Branhamand Jeff Perkins joined forces for a live recording of The Great Retention, Cooleaf’s podcast reimagining the future of work.
Panelists participated in a panel discussion on what cultivating a people-centric culture will look like in 2023. Hosted by John Duisbergthe conversation touched on the principles that guide Salesloft, ParkMobile and Greenhouse, three of the from Atlanta top rated workplaces in 2022.
Katie, Donald and Jeff shared key lessons with audience members, including how to create a winning culture, how to foster alliance in the workplace and what business investments to make for 2023.
Jeff, former CEO of app giant ParkMobile, pointed out that involvement in the exit process is a major key to creating “boomerang employees,” or returning team members, to your company.
“For our top performers, I personally wanted to reach out to try and figure out what we could have done differently,” Jeff shared with the audience. “There’s a difference when the CEO does that. It’s important on every level, but people don’t expect that from the CEO. In fact, 4 people called me and joined us. Nothing left us excites more than when great people find us.”
In conclusion, the panelists proposed three areas that companies should prioritize in 2023: alliance, intentionality and exit strategy.
At Salesloft, a focus on intentionality drives a human-centric culture. “Transparency is extremely important. Transparency around our numbers, our communications at all hands. We’re so intentional about what information we share with our employees,” Katie said.
This event was the culmination of a year of inspiring leaders who joined The Great Retention to share how top leaders cultivate thriving workplaces.
