McGregor v Poirier 3: What was said?
The two stars engaged in social media chats in April, saying they were ready to ‘meet in the middle’ once again.
McGregor wrote: “Double job skills. I also didn’t take any days off unless I had to. Not one. Not even on a Sunday.
“I will take this approach for my comeback fight. I didn’t become the UFC champion with this method, but I did become the UFC 145 champion. Also the cage warriors champion champion.
Poirier then replied: “I never relax, I will find you in the middle of the octagon on July 10.”
And McGregor then replied, “It’s good to hear from Dustin, I hope so.
“Like last time, you backed up and turned in the first 30 seconds. I’ll be in the middle from the start if you want. You know. I’ll be ready for the tactics this time around too. See you in there. “
