Conor Benn has reportedly already been notified of the outcome of one of two investigations into his positive drug tests.
The 26-year-old welterweight contender twice tested positive for the banned substance clomiphene in two separate tests before his canceled fight with Chris Eubank Jr last year.

The situation has been studied separately by the WBC and by the BBBofC/UKAD.
Indeed, one of Benn’s positive tests was through the WBC’s VADA Clean Boxing program and the other through the WBC’s separate fight-specific VADA tests.
According to the boxer’s promoter Eddie Hearn, the WBC probe should be the one to buy into and he has in recent weeks placed much less emphasis on the BBBofC/UKAD affair.
However, the WBC investigation is simply aimed at determining whether or not Benn receives a ban from his rankings, not from boxing as a whole.
On the other hand, the BBBofC/UKAD investigation could prohibit him from fighting in this country.
Now the Mail reports that the WBC has concluded its investigation and informed Benn of the outcome during a conference call last week.

It is claimed that a “favorable” decision is expected and that Benn will be allowed to return to the WBC rankings.
As things stand, the BBBofC/UKAD investigation remains unresolved.
Benn and his team cooperated with the WBC investigation and provided the sanctioning body with a 270-page document fighting for his innocence.
BBBofC chief Robert Smith said last week that they had not received the same cooperation with their investigation because they had not seen this document.
