It’s fair to say that Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr have taken a different approach to tackling formula when it comes to nutrition.
We are now less than a fortnight away from the clash between Benn and Eubank Jr, as the pair continue the legacy of their fathers, who had an epic fight duo in the early 1990s.
The fight will take place at a catchweight of 157 pounds, which means Benn needs to put on 10 pounds going into fight night, while Eubank Jr needs to drop 3 pounds from where he usually fights at middleweight.
That being said, judging by the two men’s social media posts, you’d think it’s the opposite.
Eubank Jr posted a series of videos eating decadent foods including KFC, cake and a burger, seemingly indifferent to the major weight reduction he will have to undergo.
Meanwhile, Benn seemed laser-focused, posting only strenuous training clips and fight photos.
In the latest video, posted on the Matchroom Boxing Twitter PageNigel Benn pulled out a cake for his son for his 26th birthday, while he was in the ring training with former British and Commonwealth middleweight champion Felix Cash.
Benn showed his dedication in his response saying, “I can’t eat this but I can, I’m 100% mate.” before planting the cake in the face of his father, while the room burst into laughter.
Benn then planted the cake in his father’s face before the room burst into laughter.
