A new Microsoft Teams feature is coming to a screen near you soon. The company plans to launch a view switcher that will be positioned in the top bar of Teams meetings, allowing people to switch between different modes.
Microsoft made the announcement for the first time in early 2021 and with the recent update to Microsoft 365. The functionality could catch on sooner than expected. The official launch dates are not yet known.
The new view selector, which will appear in the top bar of a Microsoft Teams meeting, will give users the power to control how they want to view meeting content. They will choose between different view modes such as Ensemble, Full Screen, Focus Mode, and Gallery at the top.
The new view selector will make the options much easier for users to select the type of view they prefer. Currently, they must click on the ellipsis menu to locate the different views of a meeting.
