When powerful action and drama come together, the narrative is sure to be an eye-catcher. Bringing an intriguing story of an ordinary man set in an uncommon scenario, Sony LIV is set to air Chiyaan Vikram’s much-talked-about psychological thriller Cobra from September 27.
Chiyaan Vikram portrays several roles in Cobra, which is spiced with action and emotions all rolled into one. The Tamil film revolves around a mathematician genius Mathiazhagan, who enters the underworld of crime and adopts another identity, Cobra. Disguising himself under this identity, he begins to commit crimes. Will the world know who is behind Cobra’s identity? The film answers everything!

It is written and directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu. Supported by SS Lalit Kumar, under the banner of 7 Screen Studio, Oscar-winning music director AR Rahman composed the tunes for Cobra. Cobra includes Srinidhi Shetty, Roshan Mathew and Sarjano Khalid as well as Chiyaan Vikram and former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan. The film also features Miya, Mamukkoya, KS Ravikumar, Renuka, Robo Shankar, Mrinalini Ravi, Meenakshi Govindarajan, and Poovaiyar in key roles.
